How to reach Belper Parks
Train
Belper has an hourly train service on the Nottingham - Derby - Matlock Line operated by East Midlands Trains.
Walk up the ramp from either platform. Take the jitty beside Holdane’s then turn left into King Street. Walk up King Street to the Market Place, through the market place to Coppice Car Park.
(Walking time 7-12 minutes.)
Car
From the South
Turn of the A38 northbound at the junction with the A6
Take the A6 from Derby to Belper
At the roundabout take the third exit A609 New Road. Straight on at the first Pelican Crossing, straight on at the traffic lights, immediately before the second Pelican Crossing turn right into the Market Place.
The entrance to Coppice Car Park is between the white building and the shop
From the North and West:
A38 South bound turn off at the A610 intersection.
Take fourth exit off the roundabout A610 to Ambergate
Turn left at the junction with the A6, Matlock to Belper.
A6 from Matlock to Belper
Straight on at the first set of traffic lights by the mill.
At the roundabout take the first exit
A609 New Road. Straight on at the traffic lights
Turn right immediately before Pelican Crossing
into the Market Place. Entrance to Coppice Car
Park is between the white building and the shop
A617 from Ashbourne to Belper. Turn right at the Mill,
onto the A6.
Bus
Belper Bus Station is on the A6 Chapel Street.
There are 4 busses an hour to Derby, an hourly service to Matlock via Wirksworth plus a two hourly Trans-Peak service from Buxton.
Turn right out of the front of the bus station, then right at the traffic lights, into King Street.
Walk up King Street to the Market Place, through the Market Place to Coppice Car Park. (Walking time 8-15 minutes.)
Some Bus services stop at the Market Place.
