OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the group are as follows:
1) Protect the Belper Parks and associated sites by promoting and encouraging an interest in the diversification and protection of all birds, flora, fauna and wildlife on the site.
2) Protect the historical and archaeological features of Belper Parks and associated sites by, promoting and encouraging educational interest in the site, as well as local and wider participation in the whole project.
3) Promote an appreciation within the local community in the short and long term values of the area for the benefit of all.
4) Improve and conserve pedestrian access to this area of natural beauty.
5) Enable individuals wishing to communicate with the authorities over concerns about the Belper Parks to so do.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership of Friends of Belper Parks is open to individuals who are in agreement with all the objectives of the group stated in this constitution, and who have completed a membership form each year.
Membership of Friends of Belper Parks is open to groups who are in agreement with all the stated objectives of the group, and who make a small annual payment of £5 to the Friends, or as agreed between the group and the Chairman.
The Secretary is to maintain a register of all members of the Friends.
